Nanostructured semiconductor materials are considered potential candidates for the degradation of textile wastewater via photocatalytic process. This study aims to produce hexagonal gallium nitride (GaN) nanoplates and zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles in a deionized water environment utilizing one-step arc discharge Detailed characterization samples has been completed scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), UV visible methods. The hybrid nanostructure morphologies consist nanorods different sizes. photoperformance GaN/ZnO nanostructures was assessed malachite green (MG) dye under exposure. Under exposure, yield reached 98% 60 min. Compared individual ZnO GaN nanoparticles, reaction rate photocatalyst is 2.2 3.6 times faster, respectively. Besides, show excellent stability. energy consumption presence 1.688 kWhL?1. These results demonstrate that with improved activity reasonable option decomposition light

We studied the photocatalytic properties of rational designed TiO2-ZnO hybrid nanostructures, which were fabricated by the site-specific deposition of amorphous TiO2 on the tips of ZnO nanorods. Compared with the pure components of ZnO nanorods and amorphous TiO2 nanoparticles, these TiO2-ZnO hybrid nanostructures demonstrated a higher catalytic activity. The strong green emission quenching obs...
